Last Saturday, I pretended that I was in Athens, watching him graduate. Even though we were over 200 miles away, I still pretended.
He was dressed for the occasion, so it didn't make it hard for me to believe he was the one graduating.
In reality, we were watching him graduate.
Alan was happy to miss his graduation to spend two weeks in California with the Class President, Valedictorian, and future MIT freshman (among many many other accomplishments).
I couldn't be more proud of both of them. Congratulations guys!
